WA$TED! won the 2007 FRAPA/C21 Best Observational Format Award at MIPCOM, the Supreme EECA EnergyWise Award, NZ government's Green Ribbon Award, the NZ Sustainable Business Network Innovation Award. It is now screening in over 15 countries worldwide, including new versions of the format being made in USA, Canada, Spain, Denmark Portugal and Malaysia.

Park Road is located in Miramar, Wellington, New Zealand. Park Road has posted some of New Zealand’s best known films including The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, King Kong, Bridge to Terebithia, The Worlds Fastest Indian, No. 2 and more recently The Lovely Bones.

South Pacific Pictures has an international reputation for producing world-class television and film. In its 19 years it has produced more than 3000 hours of programming. Drama series and serials, feature films, and more recently, entertainment, reality programming and documentaries are all part of the programming mix. The current slate includes work for New Zealand, Australian, Canadian and UK broadcasters. South Pacific Pictures is the production company behind one of New Zealand’s favourite’s – Shortland Street.

Between December 2007 and March 2008 a significant proportion of American film X-Men Origins: Wolverine was filmed in and around Queenstown, Glenorchy and Dunedin. Employing approximately 500 people, Wolverine was a sizeable production. The New Zealand-based production company, WOZ Productions, was based in Queenstown throughout filming.
